This Article is For Our Dear Masters:
THẦY NGUYỄN ĐỨC THUẬN & CÔ NGUYỄN NGỌC HẢI
Being a fifth level disciple, we knew that the burden of ailments disappeared completely in exchanged for a happy and peaceful mind and a healthy body that is ready to serve others. However, we have more and more responsibilities facing the new challenges if we do not have a keen, focus, and clear mind.
Our Founding Grand Master taught us that we need to make every effort to have a strong will so our spirit will always be at peace. We need to learn to let go of all thoughts and actions that might have negative effects on the journey to cultivate ourselves. We need to be persistent in fighting the challenges ahead of us with a non-agitated mind.
During the days we were at the Head Quarter Meditation Center in Seattle, we had a chance to prepare our willpower. We learned to keep our mind clear and focus on a noble aspiration in order to reach the highest frequency of the peacefulness. Meditation with a noble mind gave us a better outcome; our mind was nourished beautifully during the peaceful time at the center.
The wonderful teaching of Thầy and Cô, and the perfect caring of all the people who organized the class gave us the most inspiring memories. We will carry on these extraordinary memories with us to the end of our cultivated journey. These are valuable lessons not only for disciples from Rosemead Meditation Center but also for all disciples around the world. The well planed and neat organization was one of the most important factors that led to the high quality and successful outcomes for the class.
Our Founding Grand Master taught us that we still have a long way to go in the journey of cultivating ourselves; therefore, we need to work side-by-side with other disciples around the world to build up a stronger UHBE organization so some day we will all be able to board the UHBE ship of our Grand Master to go back “home” after accomplishing our evolution.
Finally, we would like to sincerely thank our two dedicated Masters, Thầy Nguyễn Đức Thuận and Cô Nguyễn Ngọc Hải, we will forever cherish and remember your teachings to apply the lessons to our daily life. Today, we see ourselves as the Bodhi seeds that need to be nourished with the purity from your teachings so the seeds can germinate and growth to become useful people for our society.
Sincerely Yours,
A disciple from the UHBE Center at Rosemead, California
