Today we are very pleased to welcome you to our San Jose Meditation Center where we as a nonprofit organization has been helping people for more than a year. Your presence is an encouraging support for us on the way to assist human to overcome soul and body illness.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
A hundred and sixty-five years ago, on October 24, 1846, our master founder Dasira Narada was born in Colombo, Sri Lanka to a noble family. His father was an governmental officer. His mother was a faithful Buddhist. When he was 25, he received a doctorate in Oriental Philosophy and was invited to take part in politics. Five years later, perceiving great misery of the human living, he left for Himalaya and practiced meditation there under harsh living conditions for 18 years. He finally discovered a method to apply the ever existent life force energy in the universe to human body. It is nowadays Universal Human Body Energy.
People all over the world after the two world wars has lived in distress, and Universal Human Body Energy's spiritually scientific method without discrimination of races, religions, and social classes is suitable to everyone. Therefore, Universal Human Body Energy has been thriving in many continents since then. In the past 15 years, 45 meditation centers all over the world have been established including 12 centers in USA, 11 in Canada, 8 in Australia, 7 in Vietnam, 2 in Cambodia, 1 in Hong Kong, and 1 in Spain and so on. These centers with many thousands of disciples are serving even higher number of patients. In fact, these centers have contributed a great deal in restoring morality and reducing the health care cost for the communities and society.
Together with the advance of Science and Technology in the 21 st century, human intelligence also develops immensely. This helps human beings perceiving Right and Wrong, Good and Evil. However, they are in need of a way to assist them to rid of being in darkness and lust caused by human greed, jealousy, and passion. Universal Human Body Energy with its principle of cessation from pain and extermination of misery is a spiritually scientific and effective method that has brought practical benefits to the human kind.
