UHBE Houston Meditation Center
I have spend more than a half of my life just working to survive. Fortunately, I am blessed to have a chance to learn the Dharma of the UHBE Discipline. Through the Dharma, I have learned where I came from and what I have to do in order to get a better life. A while ago, I could only vaguely understand the terminologies such as: “Fame, Wealth, and Love”, “Benevolence, Wisdom, and Fortitude”, “The World Merit”, “Enlightment”,”Cause and Effect”. Now, through the teaching of our two competent masters, I have recognized that in order to go back to my roots, I have to cultivate myself, I have to strive hard to prevail my ego, and try to not judge other people’s mistakes. I also know that I have not only learned the Dharma, but I must also understand it clearly, and then apply it correctly in my daily life. I learn that cultivating simply means making corrections, but only correcting your own mistakes, not other people’s mistakes. I am very grateful to the Founder Grand Master, to Thầy and Cô, and to all instructors, who help me to gain my calmness, my self-confidence, my self control, and to overcome my ego. I still have a long cultivation journey ahead , and even though I only have limited knowledge I will always strive my best to reach the Ethical Harmony with the society.
